The National Testing Agency(NTA), the organizing body of the National Eligibility Test (NET) has released the question paper, answer sheet of examination. The candidates who have appeared in the examination can get the answer sheet through the official website, nta.ac.in. In July -2018 NET exam conducted by CBSE but now NTA taken the charge of conduct this exam.
In Dec. 2018( 9 Dec. to 23 Dec.) NET Exam was conducted in two shifts, it was online exam. So now NTA will be releasing answer sheet and result. The NTA’s decision on the challenges of answer sheet shall be final and result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys and there is no grievance with regard to answer key (s) after the declaration of result of the exam. The answer keys of the examination will be releaseed by December 31, and the results on January.10
“Though this is the first time NTA is conducting the examination,it is a proud moment for us that no complaints have been made,” said by NTA director Vineet Joshi.
Over 1.8 Lakh candidates had registered for UGC NET Examination that was conducted on Dec. 22. A total of 65.3% candidates appeared in the exam on first day and 72.8 % on 2nd day.
A 24years old woman on Thursday accused officials conducting the National Eligibility Test (NET) of not allowing her to appear for the Examination after she refused to take off her ‘hijab’
The officials, however, maintained that hijab and other accessories are not allowed to prevent cheating and also from the security point of view.
Safina Khan Soudagar alleged thtat when she arrived at the examination centre in Panaji on Dec. 18, the supervisor there asked her to remove her hijab. When she refused to do so, he did not allow her to sit for the test.
NET is conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) to determine eligibility for college and university level lecturership and for the award of JRF.
